The retractable shade sail hand-operated awning (motorization coming soon) defies the rules for traditional awnings with its minimalist design.
Able to cover most patios the retractable shade sail can lay horizontal, unlike most folding arm awnings.

The fabric membrane is waterproof. Water runs off the membrane automatically when suspended at an inclination of 8 or more degrees (14%) meaning that no "pooling" of water will occur

The fabric sail does not necessarily have to be inclined. The system works from 0 to 90 degrees. From an angle of 25 degrees or more, a gear unit is necessary
